I have been using Firefox v102 which is my default browser but had some issues and wanted to try using Brave to be free from some of the problems I have noticed with FF.
I installed Brave from my openSUSE repo using Yast and all went well but…

I wanted to leave FF as my default and be able to select Brave if I wished however even though Brave was not selected as default and FF was, any link I selected was opened in Brave. I have looked everywhere to try and stop this intrusive behaviour but no luck. I looked in my DE and the Brave file was shown but I could not delete it.

To cut a long story short I have had to delete Brave and remove from my system in order to recover my FF browser.

It is not for me to rant as a newbie to Brave but I do find this problem and the somewhat intrusive behaviour unexpected. I had hoped for a better experience. If you can explain how to solve the problem it would go a long way to my trying Brave again but for now it is off my system.
