I am writing to report an issue I have encountered with the recent updates of the Brave browser. Previously, I was able to create shortcuts for websites, such as the mock test sites I frequently use (Testbook, Adda247, etc.). However, following the recent updates, I am no longer able to create these shortcuts.

As a banking aspirant, I rely heavily on these shortcuts for quick access to my study materials. This issue is impacting my study routine, and I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving it.

Download that text file. Change the file’s filename extension from:

  • .txt

to:

  • .url

You can read the contents of the text file in any text editor on your computer. The contents are:

[InternetShortcut]
URL=https://community.brave.com/t/i-do-able-to-creat-a-shortcut-except-youtube-for-easy-to-access/576807

After you change the filename extension to .url . . . then double-click on the file.

That will cause your default Internet browser to go to the URL address that is written within that file.
