I can't remove and replace my YouTube channel with another YouTube channel account

Hi! I am new to brave. At first, I used my wife’s email, and add the Yt channel that was link to it. I decided to log out my wife’s account and sign up MY account it where my active YouTube account was link. But when i was trying to replace it, it (my wife’s yt channel) keeps on reappearing. I don’t know what to do.
