I can't open links in the associated app using Brave Desktop

Description of the issue: I can’t open links in the associated apps using Brave Desktop. Before migrating from Chrome to Brave, I was able to open links (from, ex:, Figma or BlueJeans) in the associated app, but Brave doesn’t give me the option to do so. This doesn’t happen with every app, Zoom works fine.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open any link form BlueJeans or Figma (these are the ones affected)

Expected result: Open the BlueJeans or Figma app
