I cannot paste copied sentences

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. I copied(ctrl-c) the sentences from Reddit, and cannot paste(ctrl-v) that sentences at Daum blog(specific address is “http://blog.daum.net/logiker/manage/newpost/?type=post&returnURL=%2Flogiker%2Fmanage%2Fposts%2F”).
    You can see my attached file that says “붙여넣기 및 이미지 업로드 중입니다.” that can be translated into English like “Pasting and Uploading images”. And no more progress.
    This issue doesn’t happen at any other browser.

Expected result:
Paste the copied sentences.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.16.72 Chromium: 86.0.4240.183 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hello @Sangdan

try to disable all extension and try it in private mode and see if it work then the issue could be in one of the extension or your cache

When only texts are copied, these can be pasted,
but the problem occurs when images are copied together.

do you mean the issue show up when copy image and text am i right?
to be honost i never tested that
does that happen only on that site or there other site behave the same?
is chrome was one of the browser you tested that with ?

Yes, the issue shows up when copy image and text.
When only text is copied, that issue doesn’t show up.

Maybe that issue happens only on Daum Blog(http://blog.daum.net/).
I tested on Naver Blog(https://blog.naver.com/) - maybe you’re not accustomed to Korean sites :slight_smile: - and that issue didn’t happen.

I tested on chrome, and that issue didn’t happen.

To sum up,
Daum blog at Brave browser - in trouble
Naver blog at Brave browser - no problem
Daum blog at Chrome browser - no problem

I don’t read korean, but the site is using an Anti-right mouse click option, is this the problem?

But, there is not the option at the site(Daum blog).

I don’t know the error message, but visiting http://blog.daum.net/dywjd9090/7262 directly prevents the right mouse click (so copy/paste will be an issue)

Oh, I misunderstood your terminology, sorry for that :sweat_smile:
There is an Anit-right mouse click “option” at the site(Daum blog),
but there is the option also at Naver blog and Naver blog doesn’t have the issue I mentioned above.

Should help with the paste/copy issues. Ensure you have Fanboy Korean in brave://adblock Give it 24-48hrs for the update to go through.
