Hyperlinks open old Brave version and the icon is greyed out

When I click on a hyperlink from email or zoom meeting it opens is the old version and the Icon is opens is greyed out.

1. Click on any link you clicked on before the update
2. Opens the old version for me

Opens new browser version

Experiencing this issue too. When I hit hyperlinks in emails or documents (i.e. not while browsing), the pages open in the old version of Brave, though I have the new version installed. Have you found a solution to this? Not the end of the world obviously, but would love to be able to resolve it.
