Description of the issue:
When i log in to my company microsoft log in https://login.microsoftonline.com/ it redirects me to a google sign in page

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. sign in to https://login.microsoftonline.com/

Expected result:

I expect to be signed in to the campany webpage/service i’m trying to access like on any other browser.

Brave Version( check About Brave):

v1.74.51

Additional Information:

this also causes issued when accessing other websites, i had to make whis post with microsoft edge for example.

I saw something about clearing cache causing similar issues, and this started happening after clearing my cache.

On my end, https://login.microsoftonline.com/ lands me on the correct page.

Can you please launch Brave and go to Menu --> More tools --> Guest profile to launch a guest profile, close your original profile window, then try visiting https://login.microsoftonline.com/ again and see if it lands on the proper page?

On the guest profile it works as intended, the issue seems to only be on my original profile.

I’m wondering if it caused by an extension you have installed in the browser at this time. If you have any, can you please try disabling them and then testing again?

The only extentions i have are for pdfXchange editor and microsoft power automate.
I tried disabling them and same result

Would it be possible to see a short screen recording of the redirect as it occurs on your end?

Unfortunately not, It might reveal company information, they’re very strict about that at my work. I’ll try and delete my user data and see if that helps.

Got it — yeah definitely don’t want you to expose any sensitive information. Out of curiosity, when it sends you to the Google login, if you login to your Google account, what happens after that?
