I have used the “ctrl+click” / middleclick feature to open new tabs in background for a long time, but now all of a sudden its auto focussing on the new tab. Even the context menu option focuses on the new tab. Is there a way to disable this feature? I want to stay on my current tab when doing that.
@MCUxDaredevil, could you let us know which version of Brave and which Linux distribution you’re using?
I’m on Windows 11 Pro with Brave version 1.71.123, and Ctrl+Click or Middle Click to open links in a background tab is working as expected here. It’s also working for me in Nightly version 1.75.6.
Could you also try in a new browser profile or a private window to see if the issue still occurs?
