How to set Ecosia as default search engine Mac via MDM configuration profile

Description to the issue: In my organisation we are implementing Brave as the default web browser for macOS. Using our MDM system we centrally manage and customise certain aspects of the web browser (Start Page, Bookmarks, Search Engine …)

We would like to implement Ecosia as the default search engine, however this is not really working. Does anyone have the following right parameters to make this work?

• Default search provider new tab page URL
• Default search provider search URL
• Default search provider suggest URL

We create our management configuration profiles on iMazing.

Actual result: all settings from the configuration profile are working as expected in Brave except for the default search engine which continues to be Brave Search.

Expected result: have Ecosia as default search engine out of the box.

Additional information: We know how to manually set up Ecosia as default web browser, however this is not working for us as we have around a thousand computers in our organization and we expect to automate this. (As we automated all the other settings).

Brave Version(about:brave): 1.76.74 Chromium 134.0.6998.89 (macOS)

In case anyone is wondering how to achieve this, my best recommendation would be to automatically deploy the Ecosia Chomium web extension to Brave:
