Hello all, this is my first post here, I apologize in advance if I am not using technically precise terminology.
This question relates to Brave mobile, Android version 1.68.137, Chromium 127.0.6533.100 although it applies to older versions too. Specifically the new tab page that is automatically populated with icons of frequently visited sites.
I removed a shortcut icon from the new tab page (long press>remove). Now, I would like to restore it or at least enable that site to be re-included to the new tab page through frequent visits. However it seems that once a site is removed from the new tab page it is removed forever.
How can I restore a site to the new tab page?
Description of the issue:
A shortcut removed from new tab page cannot be restored.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Open new tab
- Remove a shortcut icon (long press>remove).
- Shortcut is irrevocably removed.
Expected result:
Some way of restoring removed shortcut.
