How to open fillable PDFs?

I would really like the chance to convert to Brave away from Google Chrome-spy but I have a problem: My business requires the use of online PDF documents that have to be filled out online. In Chrome, no problem: the document opens in a separate window and the fillable fields are shown in blue. I can fill out the document and then save it. In Brave, while it opens the documents, none of the fields are fillable and there is no option to use Acrobat for this.

This is reproducible 100% of the time and it’s a current Windows 10 machine.
