hi. is there a feature that lets brave keep running in background when pc/desktop/laptop is put to sleep mode? because i want to keep the music i play in youtube running while saving battery by putting my laptop in sleep mode.
@nikss Brave already can and does run in the background. Part of the challenge here in your phrasing is about putting in sleep mode. When you put a device in sleep, it suspends everything that’s running. This is much different than just locking your device, which may be what you would like to consider.
But no, there’s no way to force Brave to keep running if you put your PC to sleep.
@Saoiray but Media Player can run in sleep mode tho, or maybe because it’s a built-in app for windows. idk just guessing hahaha
@nikss or it’s just matter of choice words. I’m guessing you aren’t actually putting it to sleep but instead just are locking it, turning off the screen, doing some power saver mode, etc. But I’ll even show screenshot below:
To my knowledge that has never changed. That said, I was seeing some mention of Away Mode for some, but I’m not sure if it’s a laptop only thing or what? I know I can’t see such a thing for my PC. If it is there, then I’m guessing it’s yet another mode rather than sleep.
