How to enable brave vpn on mac

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Cannot enable brave vpn for my mac as there is no option in the menu or a vpn button to connect on on the brave browser.
  2. I purchased brave vpn on ios and it works great there. I have also linked my account to my brave browser on my mac and see on the account page that is was purchased.
  3. I am running Macos ventura 13.2.1

Expected result:
VPN enabled on my mac

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.49.120 Chromium: 111.0.5563.64 (Official Build) (arm64)

Additional Information:

Unfortunately brave VPN isn’t cross OS yet, atleast on Release Version. You may try the same by installing Brave beta. The VPN Button will be there. Hopefully, they’ll add it in the next stable release Update.

Forgot to mention →
go to brave://flags and enable VPN from there. After which, you should see a VPN button on your browser. It just hasn’t been made into core yet

Thanks!! That worked. It says its experimental? Guess that’s similar to in beta? I’ll see how it works and report back.
