Description of the issue:
When I am on websites that are not in English (i.e. French) there is a popup window from “Word Reference” that appears every time I highlight some words. This is really annoying and I have looked at the settings to find how to disable it, but I cannot find anything.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Go on to a website in a foreign language. I used French.
Highlight words with your mouse.
Look at the popup that appears automatically.
Ask forum for help.

Expected result:
I want nothing to happen. Just have the words become highlighted.

Can you try creating a new test profile and seeing if the issue persists?
Click on the menu icon in the top right corner > create a new profile.
Oh jeez…haha I see now that it is actually just that website that does it. It does it even for English words. This is the site: https://www.tolearnfrench.com/
I have gone onto other websites in French and it isn’t doing that…sorry facepalm
I have only been using Brave for about a week and I guess I was just so sucked in by my frustration that I didn’t think it might just be the website and not the new browser.
