How To Disable Shields Feature

Hi,
I’m used to using the adguard ad blocking extension, it’s always worked very good for me. I’m interested in disabling the built-in shields ad blocker, there must be some way to do that. Does anyone know how to do that ?

Dumb question on my part - folks migrate to Brave for the builtin ad blocker (to get away from having to use an extension). So why circumvent the native blocker??

Is this flag what you’re looking for (Ad block)??

You can manually disable the switches via Settings > Shield.
