How to disable auto-suggest on password fill?

When signing up to create an account, Brave interferes by popping up a dialog offering to enter a strong password. I don’t need handholding to create a strong password, and I don’t want Brave to suggest what to use. I already use strong passwords which are unique to every domain where I login. How do I get Brave to SHUT UP?

I went to brave://password-manager/settings, but there is no setting to stop Brave from suggesting passwords. Some users might want something else telling them what are strong passwords. I do NOT want the handholding. I will decide what password to use within the confines of whatever restrictions a site places on password strength.

This should not be a forced feature. It should remain a choice on behavior by the user. There should be a setting the user can enable or disable to decide whether or not to employ Brave’s auto-suggest feature on passwords.

In addition to suggesting passwords (that do not match my memorized algorithms to produce unique strong passwords), the dialog obliterates part of the web doc which may be critical to completing the login registration. I don’t want AI telling me what to look at in searches. I don’t want Brave thrusting its suggestion of a password at me, either, while displaying popups that are, at a minimum, a nuisance, and could possibly interfere with the web form’s operation.

I found brave://flags/#pwm-show-suggestions-on-autofocus, but it is already configured as “Default (disabled)”. I did not find a setting to disable Brave’s auto-suggest password feature. Did I miss finding the user choice?
