How to block websites using brave filters

I wanted to block sites using brave filters but it doesn’t work on all sites. for examples it works on chess.com, but doesn’t work on any other site I tried from this list:
||fb.^$document
||facebook.^$document
||instagram.com^$document
||threads.net^$document

I used this thread to solve my issue

Switching to Aggressive mode in brave://settings/shields should bring up an error message.
