How secure Brave browser is ?

Today, I visited a website that didn’t seem like a usual website. It was just a bunch of file lists. After searching on Google, I found out that you can get infected even without clicking any link.

So, my question is: Is Brave secure? And how does it compare to other browsers in terms of security?

In the community, I noticed that there is no category for Brave security or any tags related to security.

About Chromium - somewhere online, a few years ago, I found:

“Intrinsically, Chromium is a Google project maintained by many authors (developers, engineers, graphic designers, security researchers … ) from Google, Adobe, Amazon, ARM, Brave, Cloudflare, Facebook, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Igalia, Intel, Logitech, Microsoft, Mozilla, Nvidia, Opera, Samsung, Vivaldi, Xiaomi, Yandex … and external contributors.”
