I did a search on the Brave browser which is on my laptop. Then I went to the Microsoft Edge browser on my iphone and found that my search phrases that I used on the Brave Browser on my laptop can be seen on my Microsoft Edge browser on my iphone. May I kindly ask: can you provide step-by-step instructions on how to prevent this? Thank you kindly!
@Wingdoct, other browsers can’t see what you do in Brave. However, websites can track your activity if you’re signed into an account. For example, if you’re using Google and signed into your Google account on both browsers, Google will track your searches done on Google and provide suggestions.
There’s no way two different browsers (like Brave on iPhone and Edge on a laptop) can see each other’s activity. This would only be possible if you’re signed into accounts or using an extension or third-party app to sync data across devices.
Thank you kindly for your reply, Stephen!
