How do I recover passwords?

I’ve got an email account that I must have flubbed the password upon entry when setting it up because it doesn’t match what I wrote down. Discovered that when trying to use a different computer to access it, one that doesn’t have Brave, the program I used to initially set it up. I hit MENU (the three small lines in the upper right of the screen) and clicked SETTINGS > SECURITY > Manage Passwords, but under that last one all I see is a line of *******. Need to find out what I actually entered.
