How do I make Brave Search the default on Firefox?

Since DDG betrayed us, I want to install Brave as my default search engine on Firefox. But when I look at the list of search engines, Brave is not included. It then wants me to install a plugin by Dusan Uveric. I don’t want to install any plugin that I don’t know who the guy is and that is not supported by the company itself. So how do I install Brave as the default search for FireFox? Thanks!

Go here in Firefox and follow the instructions:
https://search.brave.com/default

Thanks, but I did this and Brave does not show up. All of the other search engines show up, but not Brave.

Have you tried going to https://search.brave.com/ and right-clicking on the address bar? “Add Brave Search” should popup.
