Can you give a little more info on the autoscroll. Not really sure if its the same as clicking the mouse wheel that activates the scroll on pages?
Yes, autoscroll/middle-click-scroll, I meant the same.
It’s probably relevant that autoscroll is not available in Chromium on Linux, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if it’s not available in Brave on Linux, as I read that Brave is based on Chromium.
There is a Chromium extension that brings this functionality to Chromium on Linux: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/autoscroll/occjjkgifpmdgodlplnacmkejpdionan
Would be better for Brave to include it built-in, as Firefox does (Firefox requires an easy change in settings to enable the feature).
Can someone please comment on this issue? Is this a feature in development? Is this a bug? Is this feature purposely left out of the Linux version?
I wasn’t aware of the extension. There’s already an issue logged for this https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/959. For now you can use the extension as a workaround till there is native support for it. I’ll add a +1 on your behalf in the issue
