How can I translate the website?

Hi there,

I am on a German-language website, kurviger.de (image 1), and I am viewing a post that is in English (image 2). Normally, English pages offer a translation. Unfortunately, this is not the case here.

What can I do now?

Thanks for your help

Your example screenshots appear to specifically be from the Kurviger Forum https://forum.kurviger.com/ that uses Discourse software ← the same software used by the Brave Community forum.

My 2 screenshots (following) using BB (iOS) 1.78.1 (104), show a mixture of English and German - and, the forum members can write, using either language for their posts and replies.

So, written in German, displays in German, and written in English displays in English ← do you know if that is the Kurviger Forum policy? You might ask the Kurviger Support team about that?

I would usually select foreign language text, and use the Deepl.com website for translation.

Exactly

I assume this because there are countless posts that are in English or German, even within the posts the languages can be mixed.

Of course I could use an external translator, but Brave has an integrated translation program that lets me translate foreign language texts. Hence my question as to why this is not offered.

Sorry if the English is a bit bumpy, but for lack of foreign language skills I use Deepl

Given the very mixed German-and-English language usage at the Kurviger Forum (BTW, thanks for your screenshots):

I am not certain about, how well Brave Browser translation is [willing and] able to parse a text area that has mixed languages, without a GUI (user interface) having the necessary controls for the user to be involved at selecting “this” for translation “but not that”. ← Training the translator.

@Mattches of Brave Support will know much more than I.

On my end, it looks like translate is working just fine. I think that the mixed languages perhaps is preventing the browser from prompting you to translate. However, if you right-click on the page and select Translate to [language] from the context menu:

Then I see the page translated and the prompt appear in the address bar:
