How can I stop the "Brave Technologist Podcast" background from displaying?

Description of the issue:
I have a specific background photo I have chosen to always display when opening a new tab. This worked on the previous version, but after upgrading to the new version, I frequently see a “background” that is a live HTML screen pushing the “Brave Technologist Podcast” or some other similar screen. With all due respect, I find this irritating. How can I stop this?
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Opening new tabs. Eventually this will appear

Expected result:
I do not want to see “Brave Technologist Podcast” screen. I want to see my chosen background.

Release v1.75.178 (Feb 13, 2025)
Additional Information:
Nothing else

I had the same issue on a new device, just disable “Show sponsored images” on the customize menu of the new tab page (Its under where you select your own background and the base Brave ones).
