How can I permanently disable caret browsing?

Just a simple question as titled because I often use F7 key and never use caret browsing. How can I do that?

I too want a simple answer to this. Why is there not an option to disable it like you can in other browsers? I like an autoclicker that uses F7 and this built in feature ruins it. I do not want caret browsing, I never want it. I want an option on all platforms to disable it.

Bump, toggling it with F7 is not a solution as it can still turn back on. I want it to be permanently disaabled

You can’t. Only thing you can do is create a topic over at #brave-feature-requests and then hope Brave can handle it. That, or go over to https://www.chromium.org/Home/ and try to get them to implement it. If it exists in Chromium, typically it will exist in Brave.

I will let you know that on Brave’s side, this is likely a very low priority request.
