@Johann Check the following:

A. Open https://search.brave.com/settings , and disable Discussions
B. Open brave://settings/cookies (image)

1. Go to Sites that can always use cookies and ADD https://search.brave.com/
2. Go to See all cookies and site data and check that https://search.brave.com/ is there.
3. Restart Brave and check.
