How can I claim past BAT earnings?

I have recently been able to verify an uphold wallet. There are months where rewards were been earned before this verification. How can I claim these past earnings?

Rewards are supposed to accumulate. Once you successfully link your Brave wallet to your Uphold account, your Uphold account should receive the total BAT paid in all previous months.

I understand the “supposed to”, but the past amounts never transferred. How do I recover the past BAT?
