How brave rewards claim system works?

I wanna know how claiming works. I know that you can claim on specific date and today is my day to claim but when I did it only let me claim a very small part of it. when I check estimated rewards it was still in it. I also claim from my mobile brave and it was the same like very less reward. Is this how it is work ?
