Hope Brave team didn't delete my wallet

Hi,

I use Brave browser since severals years and always restore my account with this method after a clean install of Mac OS

  • I install Brave
  • I restore my account with seed phrase

After a clean install, I try to restore my account and I don’t understand why now the procedure is failed, my account always displays 0 BAT.

There are informations that since version 1.3, Brave team decided to remove this option.

Is there a solution to restore my account or did the Brave team one day decide to remove user rewards without offering a transparent migration for the user?

Thank you for reporting! Please DM with the following information:

  • Copy/paste your Wallet ID (found on brave://rewards-internals)
  • Your OS and Brave version (first three lines in brave://version)
  • A screenshot of your Rewards panel in Settings --> Brave Rewards.
