I’ve tested both 4 x 1 Brave search widgets:

i. From homescreen, open widgets menu, find Brave section, select and drag search widget to an empty space
ii. Touch widget to open search bar
iii. Type and search anything or open any memorized page/search
iiii. From Android navigation bar, touch overview button
