Description of the issue:
Active tab is indistinguishable from other tabs, and so it is easy to close the wrong tab
Does anyone know of an extension which will highlight the active tab?

Which Brave version that you use?
Those threads is for previous Brave (muon) 0.25.x that no longer supported.
Brave 0.62.x and higher IMHO highlight the active tab well.
