Help: the browser "downloads" only the same old file - not the active PDF I'm

  1. I do document work online requiring downloading of PDF’s and Tiff files (on Win 10). On several sites, when clicking the download arrow the file downloads and I can even assign a new file name, download it into the ‘Download’ folder, however, when opening the pdf it is repeated copies of an older file. The Download folder could be empty, I’ve used CCleaner, but when downloading 5 fresh pdf docs, when opening in Acrobat, the 5 new pdf’s are 5 copies of this old document. My only way around this, for now, is to ‘print’ each document, which preserves the active & correct pdf. Its more time-consuming and reduces the document quality. I don’t know if this is a Brave problem, Windows 10 problem or what… Have you seen this?

could you open the file after it download from the download bar and see if it new file or same old file
