Help, I cannot quit or force quit brave. The Browser says its open but its closed

I cannot Force-quit brave. It is open always even though I try force quitting it. I cannot even put it in the trash. It is Open but not open at the same time. I know it sounds weird but it is the truth!

@JumpyWizard,
Can you open the Activity Monitor on your mac and check to see if there are any Brave processes running? This includes “helper” or “update” processes as well. If so, terminate the process(es) from the Activity Monitor and then try again.

It says no Brave applications are open. I think it may be a display issue or Browser Issue.

Are you able to remove the Brave icon from the dock?

Nope, there is still the grey dot underneath the application icon.

Have you rebooted your mac since this incident occurred?

I attempted to, But my screen is just normal when it tries to restart. Restarting is Not working.

I have the exact same issue. Just started yesterday.

You mean your mac won’t restart in general?

Can you try closing any Brave processes you see in your Activity Monitor?
