Google Software Update needed for Brave auto-update on macOS?

Hi. Quick question…

I understand that Brave is built on Chromium, so is Google Software Update needed to ensure that Brave auto-updates on macOS, or can I safely delete it from startup as a process related to a different Google product I may have installed in the past?

Hi @tagaeri - updating Brave is a completely separate process. You can safely delete.
