Google search shows only images for a portion of returned search results; image links not functioning

I enter any given search term, then select “Images”. When the page loads only the first window or two (scrolling down) do I see appropriate picture thumbnails; all other thumbnails are nothing more than colored placeholders. What’s more, on the thumbnails that do show an image, none of the hyperlinks (when the cursor is placed over the image) work. I have to click on the text hyperlink to take me to any given location. This behavior occurs in Brave and in Chrome BUT not in Edge.

I’ve tried the typical workarounds but nothing so far has worked.

Anyone have a solution to resolve things? God forbid I’m forced to use Edge.

You could try clearing all browsing data of your current user profile. brave://settings/clearBrowserData => Advanced => Time range: All time => Check all options => Clear data Note 1: This will log you out of all websites, make sure you know your logging credentials for websites you log into!
