*Troubleshooting technical issues is much easier when both the Description of the issue:
When opening a Google Maps link that uses https://maps.app.goo.gl/...
or older https://goo.gl/app/maps/...
formats, Brave on Android shows the following error:
Dynamic Link Not Found – Firebase
Request cannot be redirected again.
The same exact links open correctly in Chrome or Firefox, and even when Brave Shields are turned off, the error still occurs. This seems to affect all Firebase-based links that are meant to redirect into the Google Maps app.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Tap a Maps sharing link like
https://maps.app.goo.gl/xxxx
in Brave browser (Android) - Observe Firebase error page instead of redirect
- Open same link in Chrome → Maps opens correctly
Expected Result:
The link should either redirect into the Google Maps app or open the location in-browser as intended.
