Google Maps pinch and zoom too fast

Pinch to zoom still way too sensitive and renders maps.google.com essentially useless.

Hello, I have issues with the “pinch to zoom” (on windows laptop) When I zoomed before it was very progressive and fluid Since today it zooms in and out by steps (110% then 125% etc) It’s really annoying because I’m used to zooming in and out on the pages to read articles. Trackpad zoom on Google Maps is 2 fast/sensitive

Trackpad zoom on Google Maps is way too fast/sensitive. Supposedly this was fixed per: Scrolling zoom +/- in Google Maps too fast with Brave …but I am still experiencing the issue.

OSX Ventura 13.5.1

Have tried the various fixes listed in the above links to no avail (hardware acceleration etc).
