—I just installed Brave beta and in normal window Google is the default search engine and not Brave Search. Is there an issue with the update?

Did you have Beta installed previously? Any extensions? If you open a new profile do you see the same?
I just tried adding a new profile in Beta and it defaulted to Brave Search.

Same here – Brave Search is the default search engine for freshly downloaded Beta on both Windows and macOS.

Yes, I have already installed Brave Beta before and I’ve never encountered this problem. Additionally, I’ve been using Brave Nightly daily for a long time and sometimes I test the other two versions. It might just be a problem in one update of a beta version, as there’s no problem on Android.
