Git guardian incident about exposing brave reward verification text on github

I am a beginner web developer and had signed up for brave creator.
I create a git-hub repo naming (username.github.io) and then used the Jekyll theme resource.
For adding my website to Brave rewards creator via add channel I had to add brave reward verification text
However, after verifying the text I received an email from git-guardian that there Is one secret detected (Generic high entropy secret )

After these steps, I got an email from brave rewards creators that your website is verified and added to the channel

Finally, I had deleted the verification text from the repository

So I just wanted to know that it is safe to let the Brave reward verification text remain in a public repository or it can cause Some severe issue
