Hi, so I was using Brave normally and it was fine until I closed it and opened it again after 5 minutes, and all of my cache on the site (logged out of all my accounts) and password were erased, and my device is not in the sync chain I had anymore! Unfortunately, my phone died few days ago and its in the repair shop and I’m 100% sure that they reset all of the data on the phone so even after it fixed I will not have brave installed on it and I don’t have access to my sync chain code to sync again with it ( I don’t have the code anywhere else) can anybody help me with that? (I have my last sync codes, but when I try them, it just says: This code has expired. Please generate a new one on your other device and try again.)
What Internet browser are you using to post here at the Brave Community?
If using Brave Browser, then, in a Brave Browser New Window, go to: brave://version
and scroll down to:
- Executable Path
- Profile Path
and report those results, here. In the Profile Path, you might substitute “username” instead of using your actual Windows OS user account name.
ok, just found this post and followed the instuction for the 25th word and re-sync everthing with it.
