Description of the issue: When I try to click on the accept cookies button on twitch.tv I get a GraphQL error and nothing happens.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Expected result: GraphQL error in console
Brave Version: v1.45.127
Additional Information: I tried with and without any extensions but that did not help.
Hello there @9hN please accept my apologies for this issue. Could you please try opening your main profile in guest mode to see if you do not receive this error when accepting cookies? You can open a Guest Window by going to Main menu --> Open Guest window.
Also please try disabling shields to see if this is the reason why you are unable to accept cookies.
Let me know if that works.
I was able to accept cookies in the guest window and log in.
@9hN If the page properly works in guest mode, please try changing your cookies blocking settings on shields to only block cross-site cookies to see if this allows you to accept them on your main profile.
My shield is disabled on twitch and I am on block cross-site cookies.
Okay so I tried enabling the shields and enabled Block All Cookies and the accept cookies box disappeared but I’m still not able to log in.
Okay nvm I disabled the shields again and the cookies prompt popped up again.
uhm so now I was able to log into twitch and everything is working fine…
