Gate.io website not working

Description of the issue:
The gate.io site is not working properly. This is a crypto exchange site. I can open the site, but once I add my details, the site does not open to the next page. (it works with other browsers)
How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Go to the gate.io site
2. Enter your login details and press enter
3. See what happens

Expected result:
The site should open once I enter my login details

I just tested this, in a clean profile. I had no issues (a new signup)

Nup, default shields here. Maybe it was a site issue?

Try testing in private window mode, with shields up. Also try clearing cookies/cache via brave://settings/clearBrowserData
