First time on the forum guys, i see that personally brave has the best adblocker for videos on “the red platform” but I’ve noticed that most browsers added the floating video player to watch videos while using their system and brave still don’t have that.
So that’s my request a floating player with volume control and the option to go forward or back in the video line. If you as a user want that too try to reply or upvote so the devs can see a demand on this topic
@patchnoir could you be more specific? For example, Brave does have a floating video. Let me show you screenshot of such:
The video can be repositioned anywhere you like. I put it next to the topic name here in the screenshot. And to show zoomed option, you see you can view the timeline and skip if you want.
As to expanding on things available, such as volume control for that video only, that is definitely something that others have asked for and something for Brave to consider.
To open the videos like this, you click on the media button, which is 
and shows to the right of the address bar. When videos are playing, you click on it and get a menu such as:
From there you can click button on bottom right, 
, which is Picture in Picture mode. That would be the floating video player.
You’ll see the << and >> buttons on the media control will actually skip forward and backwards by about 5 seconds each click.
