Firewall problems, Windows 10

Hello,

I use Brave at home and I’m extremely satisfied with it. However at work we are blocking all traffic, except from permitted apps. After installing Brave I added exceptions however they do not work.
We managed to diagnose the problem, that because it’s installed in users/…/appdata/ folder, somehow the firewall exceptions don’t work.

I am easily able to enable any other browser if it’s installed in /program files/ folder.
Similar issue has arisen with the Slack app, as it’s also installed in appdata folder.

Is there any way to install Brave into program files or such folder, as disabling firewall is not an option.
I’m running Windows 10

Hi @Raimondas. Unfortunately currently there is no option to choose the installation folder. We do have an issue logged to provide the option. You can track it here
