Description of the issue:
On Fedora 41, after installing Brave from the official brave repo, i cannot make Bitwarden detect the Desktop app no matter what i do. Also, ive noticed that on the flatpak brave, i can use some functions, like screenshoting from a webpage, but it doesnt work on the rpm package.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Install Brave from the official repo
- Install Bitwarden extension from google extensions store
- install Bitwarden Desktop from official sources (Github)
Expected result:
Being able to use fingerprint unlock on Bitwarden.
Being able to use screenshot from the web in the rpm package
Brave Version( check About Brave):
v1.76.74
Additional Information:
When running brave from the terminal, and try to use the screenshot feature i got this issue, idk if its related or not:
loop->recurse > 0' failed at ../src/pipewire/thread-loop.c:425 pw_thread_loop_wait()

Seems like the issue is related to plasma integrations extension, after disabling i can capture the screen and screenshare but cant detect Bitwarden desktop client open. Pleaseclose the issue since i think its related to the extension, not the browser.
