Hello Brave team and community,
First of all, thank you for the amazing work you’ve done so far. As a daily Brave user, I’d love to share a set of suggestions that could improve productivity, comfort, and the overall experience while staying true to Brave’s core values: speed, privacy, and simplicity.
Some ideas are inspired by features in browsers like Opera or Vivaldi, others are original and tailored to Brave’s identity.

6. Command Palette / Quick Launcher
For keyboard-first, power-user navigation.

Ctrl+K
/Cmd+K
. - Fast search across tabs, history, settings, commands.
- Run quick actions: “close all tabs but this one”, “toggle dark mode”, etc.
7. Smarter Download Manager
Make file handling cleaner and more powerful.
- Auto-sort by type (PDFs, media, archives…).
- File previews and rename options.
- Resume interrupted downloads easily.

8. Enhanced Search Suggestions
Make the address bar a true smart command center.
- Multi-source search (e.g., custom engines, DDG bangs).
- Quick previews of certain sources (Wikipedia, AI snippets).
- User-customizable search shortcuts.
9. Contextual Sync Profiles
Separate your work, personal, and guest contexts easily.
- Create distinct sync profiles with different data scopes.
- Quickly switch between contexts.
- Keep extensions, history, bookmarks cleanly separated.
10. Advanced Dev Mode
For technical users and developers.
- Detachable network & JS console window.

All of these features could be optional or modular, so users can choose whether they want a minimalist or power-user experience.
Thanks again for all your efforts — Brave is already unique, and these ideas could push it even further as a true productivity and privacy browser.
