Here is a screenshot of my bookmarks. I’m on Mac Os BigSur.
There is nothing left in “Autres Favoris” (other bookmarks), I don’t know why…

Like in any browser, you can recover your deleted bookmarks. It is explained in the following link for Mac devices. It is for chrome but it is very similar to Brave.
Just change the name of users by the name of the your device and chrome by bravesoftware. You may have to unhide files in windows explorer.
