Facebook login broken when cross site trackers blocked on iOS

Description of the issue:

I’m having trouble using facebook login for a website I’m building when using Brave on iOS. It seems that when I click my log in with facebook button, nothing happens under the hood. However, when I allow cross site trackers through the Brave iOS mobile shield, the login works.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. visit https://www.lookielooapp.com/login on mobile (preferable a version close to 1.42)
  2. turn on shields and block only cross site trackers
  3. try to log in with facebook
  4. notice it doesn’t work
  5. allow cross site trackers
  6. log in with facebook
  7. notice it works

I also asked my fiance to try on her phone with brave. she has an old version of brave on iOS(Version 1.32 (21.10.13.18) Device iPhone14,2 (iOS 15.6.1)). She can log in with facebook on the above website even with cross site trackers blocked.

I noticed that on my version (1.42) brave on iOS blocks 6 creepy things, while on my fiances version Brave blocks 3 creepy things.

Is there a way to see exactly what brave is blocking on mobile?

Additional Information:

EDIT: however, I don’t see this issue happen on Brave desktop version Version 1.43.89 Chromium: 105.0.5195.102 (Official Build) (arm64)

I also don’t see this issue on Safari mobile. It seems to be tightly related to the cross site trackers being blocked on Brave iOS 1.42.
