Extra click needed on bookmarks (iOS)?

Used to be I choose bookmarks, click the one I want, and that page is loaded and displayed.

Starting in the last week, I choose bookmarks, click the one I want, that page loads in the background window but the bookmarks “dialog” is still on top and I have to drag it down to make it go away.

Bug? Feature? Annoying.

Brave browser on iOS 14.7.1 on iPhone 11

My vote, is that the problem is a bug.
