ExpressVpn with Brave

I use ExpressVpn for Windows on my desktop machine with the Brave browser. Life is good until I try to access several web sites with the VPN connection active. One of those web sites is my bank. I can connect to the site but once I try to navigate the site, I get logged out of the site. I have to deactivate the VPN connection in order to connect. The same goes for the Amazon web site. I am not able to connect to the site until I deactivate the VPN.

I don’t have this issue when I use Brave and ExpressVpn on my Android devices (tablet or phone). All my web site connections work fine. I want to know if anyone else has seen this issue or had any problems.

Could you kindly share the following below and we can troubleshoot what might be happening.

  1. What version OS/device are you using?
  2. What version of Brave are you on? (Stable, Nightly or Beta)
  3. Do you have Brave Shields enabled or disabled?
  4. Are you able to replicate this issue on other browsers?
